RVAFW in Photos — April 22 to 26

Richmond Fashion Week’s executive director and fashion designer Chanel Nelson-Green of Liznel and her runway models posed for a press picture.

This One is for the books.

Richmond Fashion Week, RVAFW, did it again for its spring/summer season, SS24. It was a long week filled with fashion shows, mix-and-mingle/networking events and of course, after-parties. I had the opportunity to report on FW for two Richmond-based magazines, Style Weekly and Mostly Sugar.

Here are some more photos that did not make Instagram or Twitter.

DAY 1 — APRIL 22 | Accessories Exhibit/Opening Ceremony at Vagabond

Models showcased jewelry pieces by two featured designers, Clae Co. and Ginger’s Love, including a mix-and-mingle social period.

DAY 2 — APRIL 23 | Emerging Designers Fashion Show at the Branch Museum

Three up-and-coming local fashion designers showcased their work to jumpstart their careers in fashion.

DAY 4 — APRIL 25 | FLOURISH by Liznel at the Branch Museum

Richmond Fashion Week’s executive director and fashion designer Chanel Nelson-Green of Liznel hosted her own solo show dedicated to her latest collection of power suits, sequined pieces and other bold outfits.

DAY 5 — APRIL 26 | Creative Suite at C'est Le Vin

A photography and networking event where members of the fashion community saw the latest SS24 collection on models and mix-and-mingle.

DAY 7 — APRIL 28 | Grand Finale Fashion Show at the John Marshall Ballroom

Seven emerging and seasoned fashion designers closed the week by showcasing their latest collection for SS24.

Articles I’ve written on RVAFW SS24:

If you are a model in any of these photos, please leave a comment or message me privately and I will get back to you.

Me and Erica of Mostly Sugar by the end of that long week.

With so much love,
